It already seems like a lifetime ago that M and I went to Freud Bar – check it out if you haven’t been there yet. The cocktails are fantastic and very reasonably priced. The interior is stripped back with high ceilings and bare concrete walls and benches, and the crowd is young and hip. An old gem that has been around since the 80’s and is safely tucked away from the buzz of Shaftesbury Avenue in an inconspicuous basement.
My head has been all over the place lately, just never where it’s supposed to be; I used my facial cleanser as conditioner in the shower, I forgot half of my morning skincare routine and went from cleansing straight to putting on make-up…heck I even forgot my best bud’s birthday! Am I losing my mind? I hope not!
Anyways, I’m getting carried away. Yet, here’s another shocker for you to chew on. More often than not, I don’t actually have anything else to say about an outfit except that I simply like it. Please tell me it’s not just me, who just jumps into an outfit that makes her feel happy, confident and comfortable without overthinking it?
It’s a summery day, but might get chilly in the evening, so I opt for ballet flats from Tommy Hilfiger (similar here) instead of sandals and throw on a light jacket from Lookbook Store. Why the Warehouse culottes? Because why not? I love culottes…they make me happy, so there’s that. The black Zara T-shirt hasn’t been getting enough love lately – and I’m all about loving all my clothes equally – and the River Island bag is new, that must be reason enough to use it every day until the next new bag comes along right? Same goes for the Armani sunglasses. Hold on…have I just proven myself wrong and completely overanalysed my choice of outfit? When you take the pieces separately, probably…but in its entirety my outfit choice was completely random. Is it a hit or a miss? Who cares…I feel good and that’s all that ever matters.
Have a lovely Thursday everyone!
