Look at that frown Ladies and Gentlemen! I promise you, this is not the frown of a hitwoman, who just left a murder scene…no…This frown, my lovely readers, is merely that of a woman with extremely light-sensitive eyes, who forgot her sunglasses at home. Dommage! If this pretty head wasn’t firmly attached…
Anywho, now that we’ve addressed the elephant in the room, let’s talk about the look I’ve chosen to show you today. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and let my sartorial creativity run wild with this one. Fashion is a game without rules, so why not experiment a little from time to time; with light, colours, textures and unexpected layers.
So instead of wearing the duster coat on top of the jumper, I’m wearing it underneath. And instead of shooting the pictures in the shade, like I normally do, I shot them in direct sunlight. Last but not least, I decided to go for black and white pictures to shift the focus from the surroundings entirely on the monochrome outfit – something I’ve done only once before on my blog.
It’s a fierce, attention-grabbing look that is nothing for the faint-hearted. All eyes were on me when I walked down the road, and it was exhilarating. I usually prefer to dress inconspicuously, but this particular outfit just brought out the attention-seeker in me.
What do you guys think? Do you like the look?
