Amsterdam Day 3

Amsterdam Day 3

Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3After a fantastic evening at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam, too beat to attend the afterparty, I fell into my comfy hotel bed and started reflecting on the previous two days. The night would only bring the next morning, the LAST morning of our awesome trip to Amsterdam, and I just couldn’t believe how lucky I was to be given the chance to experience a few wonderful days with incredibly inspiring people, who I now miss very dearly, in such a beautiful city.

Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3It was almost too good to be true and my eyes started welling up. Not necessarily because I was sad to leave, but because I was so happy and grateful for the opportunities my blog has already given me in such a short period of time. I used to make fun of established and successful fashion bloggers, who just wouldn’t shut up about how grateful they were for all the opportunities they were getting through their blogs, but I think I get it now. Every experience, every opportunity is different and unique and can seem incredibly surreal if you start thinking about it….

Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3Anyways, back to the events of our third and sadly last day in Amsterdam. I started the day early with breakfast for one, and then returned to my hotel room to get all of my stuff – old and new – packed up and ready to go. After checkout I met with the other three bloggers for a little shoot in front of the hotel, where we soon ran into the lovely ladies from Fashionchick, who then joined us for a tasty brunch at 5&33. After we had indulged in all sorts of saucy and sweet treats, the time I had been dreading all morning had come – Luise and I said our goodbyes to the Fashionchick team, Iris and Emilie, and then left for the last adventure of our trip, a boat cruise on the canals in the searing heat – the perfect end to an amazing stay and a warm goodbye from one of the loveliest cities I’ve ever been to.

Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3 Amsterdam Day 3Thank you Fashionchick, Fashion Week Nederland, Art’otel Amsterdam, 5&33, Zalando, Forever21, Reiss and boohoo for having us and making our time in Amsterdam truly magical and unforgettable. And thanks to you my lovely readers, who voted for me in the FCFindyourlook competition. I wouldn’t have won without you…you guys rock my socks off!!
